Rosie, our nearly 3 year old, barely goes out of her way to speak to anyone. Yet a few weeks ago, when we had some barely English speaking workers fixing our shed, she greeted them with a hearty "Ola!" on the way into the house. Same thing: I'm not sure how she suspected they might speak Spanish -- and even more oddly, she hardly ever greets ANYONE (with Hello, Ola, or otherwise.)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
