I have days when I recycle the entire contents of my mailbox without even looking at it.

I do the online bill thing, too -- I think we get maybe one paper bill a month.Maewen Archerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02740660002168077471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31542820.post-83209700376125773942007-11-16T17:05:00.000-05:002007-11-16T17:05:00.000-05:00i am trying to cut down on the catalogs, too. thr...i am trying to cut down on the catalogs, too. threw 4 away today before they even made it through the door of the house!painted maypolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06446625015003854710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31542820.post-33450884221389312682007-11-16T15:15:00.000-05:002007-11-16T15:15:00.000-05:00Thanks for sharing the Catalog Choice link. I've been falling behind in my resolutions to cancel catalogs, and that should help.

A little over a year ago, I had a bit of a fraud incident relating to a credit card account I'd never opened. I reported the fraud, and as an unexpeted benefit, I was automatically opted out of credit card offers for something like 6 months. I need to do that again. (Well, sign up for the opt out. Hopefully minus the fraud bit.)alejnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07220142310790773053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31542820.post-45019667976783936462007-11-16T11:56:00.000-05:002007-11-16T11:56:00.000-05:00That's awesome! It kind of works, but I think that if you've ever been a customer of a company, they're still allowed to mail to you. We still get COUNTLESS credit card offers and magazines that we ordered from, even if it was years ago. Overall, it didn't make a huge dent in my junk mail, but I think it's worth the effort.

The other thing I did was make all of my bills automatic or pay over net. Even my utility companies offer that service now, so we get NO paper bills in the mail at all. It makes bill paying easier, and there are no envelopes/fliers to recycle. Her Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04891923995709831206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31542820.post-46143049222615206902007-11-16T11:43:00.000-05:002007-11-16T11:43:00.000-05:00I've been using Catalog Choice for a couple of wee...I've been using Catalog Choice for a couple of weeks now and like it very much.
