We are in for it when she is a Teenager

The other day, when we picked Miss M. up at daycare, her teacher told us - with great amusement - that she'd been walking around outside with a pensive expression on her face. When asked what she was thinking about, she said "I'm looking for the man of my dreams".

Oh my ... I get that feeling when my 3 year old talks about getting married (fortunately, her thoughts seem to be limited to wearing dresses and picking flowers ... no man yet).

THAT IS CLASSIC.

She will regret having said that, as you haul it out for every guy she brings home up to and until she finds that man of her dreams.

I wonder where she heard that expression. I wonder what the man of her dreams is like.

That is too classic and precious. Now where did she get that?

very funny. I, like Niobe, wonder just what kind of man she is dreaming about. Perhaps one who likes to dress up and dance in the living room. Who likes to play games and watch movies with a big bowl of popcorn. Who enjoys building sandcastles on the beach...

wait... that's the man of MY dreams, too!

Narcissistic and romantic - sounds like a girl after my own heart.
