Thorny Thursday Thirteen

I have never:

  1. Had a pedicure
  2. Traveled to the Frisian Islands
  3. Owned diamonds
  4. Eaten roadkill
  5. Driven cross country
  6. Drank absinthe
  7. Been self-employed
  8. Flown a plane
  9. Gotten a speeding ticket
  10. Played golf
  11. Had dinner at Per Se
  12. Smoked a cigarette
  13. Sailed to Europe on a Polish freighter

The prime numbered items I think I’d like to do. The others? I don’t think so.

Great idea for a list. And thank goodness you've never eaten roadkill.

Personally, I think diamonds and pedicures are overrated (although the foot massage portion of the pedicure is nice). I don't think I've done any of the others, either -- ok, the cigarette, yes.

Well this was clever. Very well done. Glad about the never smoking thing. Do try the pedicure though...wonderful. Have a great TT. :)

i have done a few of these (pedicure, drive cross country, get a speeding ticket- alas) but eat roadkill? yeah, I'll pass on that one, thanks. And how clever are you? prime numbers. he he

I would have been very worried if you had eaten roadkill.

Pedicures are nice. I thought I was the only one who had never gotten a speeding ticket.

Happy TT!

What a great list: I've never thought about focusing on what I haven't done.

#1 - you must try. Not so for the speeding ticket - I really, really wish I could claim to have never had one of those. Sigh.

Good for you on 4 of those But you ought to drive cross country it is fun!

I've done a few of those, but not all :)

Ewwwww. Roadkill. You know, I haven't done these things either, including the pedicure, whcih i am determined to do at least once, although the idea of someone touching my feet makes me cringe just ever so slightly.
Very clever. I must ask, at the risk of showing my ignorance bluntly, what is absinthe? Yes, I know, I should know that...;)

Fun idea...

I had a pedicure for the first time only last year, and I recommend it.

Unfortunately, I have both tried cigarettes and received a speeding ticket.

It's good to know what you don't need in life, isn't it?

PRetty creative items though. :)

Never had a pedicure myself.

Now I'm thinking that I must go to the Frisian Islands. Which I'd never heard of until I read your list.

Yes... I'd have to pass on the roadkill saute with absinthe chaser, too.

I think that everyone needs a pedicure. Once you get one, you'll never go back.

samulli said...

Well, why would you ever want to do most of these anyway? LOL
Especially the roadkill thing ... ewwww. :o)
I like the thought of sailing to Europe on a polish freighter, though. Not that I ever would (would be hard anyway, since I already live in Europe), but it's an interesting idea - in a very "how the f..k did she get that idea" sort of way.

I smoked ONE cigarette while in college to impress a guy. YUCK! No guy is worth it!!!

Anonymous said...

I've done three of these. Maybe four, considering some of the dives I've eaten in.

I've never done anything on this list either. I had never even heard of a pedicure until I began blogging, and the concept seems peculiar to me. I'd much rather spend the money on a massage ....

I've done 8, 9 and 12. I wouldn't mind doing 8 again but not the others.
