PSA: Respect Women

I saw this poster on the subway stairs yesterday.

Awesome, no?

It's part of a NYS campaign to educate boys so they don't grow up to be abusers. Most public service ads are boring; this one gets the point across with wit.

I think I want a sweatshirt that says "Awaiting Instructions".

I love this. I'd like to print out dozens and post them around town. (And maybe I will...)

Cool ad--a little sad that the messasge isn't being taught at home (for some).

Nice!

So when I was in college, there appeared a poster in the student center convenience store reminding cashiers to check IDs (for sigs). The poster depicted a college-age kid in a t-shirt that said "Hi! I might be a Federal Agent." We thought it was hilarious, and a couple of people in my dorm printed t-shirts like this. I think we even sold a few as a dorm fundraiser.

Very cool. Are things really that bad out there? I'm pretty sheltered any more.

This is an intriguing idea … seems like it can’t hurt and might make a positive difference. Thanks for sharing ;--)

Very cool ad...and it's sad, because you wouldn't think it would need a PSA, but it does. What the hell happened to humanity, that we need things like this?

Also...that sweatshirt be translated onto a button very soon...

Great campaign, just a shame something like this has to be taught on the subway and not at home.
