Fop With A Wedding Ring

If you turn off the sound on the iPhone, it's not hard to take surveillance photos on the train.

Because sometimes you just have to document what people wear on the morning commute:

  • Blue rimmed glasses.
  • Multi-colored striped scarf.
  • Black and brown micro checked velvet jacket.
  • Pucci-like silk pocket square.
  • Grey sweater vest with white chalk stripes.
  • Bold blue/white striped shirt.
  • Cuff links.
  • Grey and white window-pane check wool pants.
  • Purple patterned socks.
  • Brown wingtips.
What do you think he does for a living?

I'm guessing he's a writer. And I wish I had a phone that doubled as a camera. So often I see things in public that just need to be documented and shared. There is a man who walks around town wearing a bicycle helmet and carrying a newspaper satchel. He does NOT deliver newspapers and he does NOT ride a bicycle. It's bizarre. I should drive around with my camera today.

He's the father of a teenage girl, and he's on his way to see her. In front of as many of her friends as possible.

PS From the photo I thought those were pajama pants!

I can't see the pic too well because I have been relegated to my phone by the rest of the household who all grabbed a laptop after lunch, but I was thinking retail. Well, here in the staid state of CT, the most flamboyantly dressed people are the ones who sell those kinds of clothes.

Reading the NY Times in the subway is so retro. You have discovered the new way to pass the time while commuting -- secretly taking photos!

A guest processor from across the pond?! I am fascinated by people. I am often tempted to take pictures of random strangers but haven't done so far because I am a chicken...
